Overview
We leave at a relaxed hour, after your breakfast, and go directly to Masada after picking up the participants (no switching of buses). This tour uses a minibus, so it will be only small group.
After passing Jerusalem we will leave Israel, but will not enter Palestinian controlled territory. That needs some explanation and your guide will introduce you to the complex and complicated reality.
Masada offers a unique historical and cultural experience.
On the way your your guide will give you you background information of the geopolitical situation 2000 years ago, when this fortress was used. Because of its dry climate and isolated location, remains of King Herod's fortress, a Roman bath house and many other structures can still be found on the mountain. The park provides stunning views of the Dead Sea and surrounding desert landscapes.
The next part your guide will tell you about the uniqueness of the lowest part of the world. We will visit one of the beaches at the Dead Sea, a unique combination of wild desert nature, the sea and the famous black mud, where you have the opportunity to float.
On this tour you will NOT visit cosmetic factories, souvenir shops and things like that.
We leave between 8.50 and 9.30am from Tel Aviv and will return between 6 and 7pm in Tel Aviv.
See pick up locations and times.

- Possibility to hike down Masada (and skip lunch there).

IMPORTANT NOTE
