We serve a tasting menu experience, served to all diners at the same time. Seating is around a bar placed in front of the open kitchen, so the guests get a view of all the activity carried out by the kitchen staff. The tasting menu, which changes from time to time, is created by Chef Raz Rahav who draws inspiration from the local culture, raw materials, history and ‘chutzpa’, while being aware of the availability of raw materials and the season, influences from around the world and memories.

The nature of the meal requires a set menu that is not presented to the diners when they arrive. We encourage you to come with an open mind, and together with the other diners, experience new tastes and raw materials. At the same time, we are heedful to culinary limitations such as pregnancies, veganism, vegetarianism, kosher adaption and allergies. Please make sure to mention it at the time of making your reservation. We will not be able to change the menu during the meal itself.

HaTraklin

Owner and Sommelier Yossi Ben-Udys concentrates on local Israeli produce, local small businesses and social contribution to communities
in the area.

The name ´Hatraklin´ translates to ´The Lounge´ and was
chosen to represent our perception of easy going and relaxed dining experience
incorporating the best quality food and wine that Israel has to offer. We have
made it our cause to offer our customers a warm and cozy environment in which
to experience good service, amazing boutique wines and unmatched quality of
beef.

The building housing the restaurant is listed as a ´Grade
One´ preservation project, the highest listing for architecturally important
buildings in Tel-Aviv. The house was first commissioned as the first hotel in
Tel-Aviv at the 1920´s. it was commissioned by a prominent wealthy family to
become "Hotel America" a safe haven for the British troops stationed
in Israel at those years. The original painted floors and wall paintings had
been meticulously restored to their original glory.

Blue Sky
